Wine. Food. Market. Do you like these words? And what about pizza? That kind you will dream about long after your stay in Prague. We somehow feel you could be interested in all that was said. In case we are right, you should definitely visit Wine Food Market. Let us introduce the foodies’ paradise to you.
Wine Food Market (next time just WFM) is like a little Italy in Prague. It is 100% inspired by Italian concept of eating and living so it is pretty unique for Prague. And even whole Czech Republic. It has three branches situated in Smíchov, Dejvice and another in Průhonice. This time we are talking about our favourite Smíchov.
This WFM consists of restaurant called Tržnice, market place, small cafe, fish shop, bakery, flower shop and food shop. In the shops you can get everything your inner foodie dreams of. Fresh salads, meat, Italian pasta, olive oils and wine which you can even taste (win). Everything is on a pricy side but the quality is the best.
The best pizza you have ever tasted
Tržnice is a buzzing restaurant where you can get pizza, pasta, fish, salads and other stuff we love and crave all the time. We highly recommend delicious pizza because we believe it is just salad on a plate of dough, what about you? If you order simple marinara, you pay only 119 CZK which is a bargain considering quality and taste. Pizzas with more toppings are naturally more expensive but it’s worth it.
There are often special events during which Italians are making ricotta and playing piano. Due to that fun and great atmosphere are always sure thing.
Seems like you need to visit this foodie heaven, don´t you think?
Stuff you should know
If you decide to stop by for food, don’t forget to make a reservation. Especially if you plan to visit on Friday evening or anytime during weekend. It’s easy peasy and can be done online.
And how to get to that feast? Easily, just hop on one of the trams number 4, 5, 12, 22 or metro B and leave at Smíchovské nádraží or Plzeňka.
