This year the Grand Restaurant Festival expands to 63 restaurants in 12 districts of the Czech Republic and in 20 cities. Emphasis will be placed on the use of seasonal ingredients and traditional recipes. Top restaurant chefs have to offer three meals to festival visitors – food from mother, special chef’s specials and a regional specialty – The Czech Special. Participating restaurants were selected by rating from 1 to 5 (excellent, very good, good, tolerable, avoid), assessed the quality of food, service and interior. Evaluators were representatives of various professional and social groups who know each other.
Probably you wonder how the ratings turn out restaurants in Prague. Of the 63 companies that attended the festival over twenty restaurants in Prague this year received the highest awards.
