Shop With Style In Prague: A Guide To Contemporary Czech Design

1) Deelive Design Store

Smetanovo nábř. 334/4, Prague 1

Interior design, jewellery, clothes and bags, cosmetics. That and even more you will find in Deelive design store, that is located on Smetana Embarkment, very close to our Charles Bridge Prague apartments. All the brands presented here are originally Czech, and your shopping comes with services such as consulting at place, possiblity to order some products bespoke, or international shipping. In the same building you can enjoy a visit to an art gallery, or have a coffe and cake in SmetanaQ café.

2) The Chemistry Design Store

U Lužického semináře 86/11, Prague 1

The Chemistry Design Store is located in Malá strana district in Prague. This store is curated by well know Czech contemporary gallery “The Chemistry Gallery” in famous artistic Letná district. Not only design items, but also artworks from best artists and designers of the contemporary Czech scene are waiting for you there.

3) Manufaktura

Manufaktura is a Czech cosmetics brand, having several branches all over Prague. Already a well established brand is to be found in lots of shopping centres, for example in Palladium on Náměstí Republiky, or in Karlova street, very close to the Old Town Square. Manufaktura is worth checking because of its uncovnevtional products consisting of ingredients such as beer, wine or spring salt. The products have the certificate of not being tested on animals, and are offered for very affordable prices.


4) Freshlabels

Jindřišská 1308/15, Prague 1

Freshlabels is a store running several branches in and out of Prague. They do not limit themselves to Czech design and brands. Instead, they attemp to find the most interesting products from well established international brands and sell it in Prague. Are you looking for quality and stylish clothing? Check for yourself in one of the Freshlabels stores, for example in Jindřiššká street, right on the opposite of our apartments in Harrachovsky Palace.

5) Footshop

Bubenská 1477/1, Prague 7

Similar case as Freshlabels, specializing in shoes and bags, but also in accessories such as hats, headphones or sunglasses. Footshop is keen to be active in events as well, organizing afternoon or evening lectures, discussions, street dance battles or even movie projections. Interested? Stay tuned on Footshop Facebook page, or visit them in Letná district. The shop is located very close to previously mentioned The Chemistry Gallery.

6) Hugo chodí bos

Řeznická 1374/12, Praha 1

Arriving to Prague with children, or wanting to bring presents to your toddlers back home? Visit this toy shop selling 100% Czech toys. You can also choose from various clothes and shoes for your kids, as well as books (in case you will want to teach them some Czech language!) The store is to be found in Řeznická street, close to our 3 bedroom Prague apartment.
