On the occasion of the Earth Day we at Bohemia Apartments Prague have for you a few tips on how to hold your trip in a healthy and green spirit. In the last post, we focused on the voluntary rules, how to behave eco-friendly in our Prague apartments. Now is the time to look at ways how to spend healthy your free time in Prague and how to discover beautiful parts of the city.
1. Renting a bike
Healthy, comfortable and quite fast way how to explore the city is to rent a bike. It usually costs around 20 euros/day and some companies, like prahabike.cz or citybike-prague.com offer also guided bike tours or at least will provide you map and good advices. We also recommend you the new bike self service rental in Karlin distict – (http://www.homeportbike.cz).
2. Renting a Segway
If you want to experience extraordinary fun and interesting sightseeing tours of the city from a totally different point of view, seeing Prague By Segway is definitely an option. Just be aware, since summer 2017, this means of transport is restricted by law and there are many zones in Prague where you are not allowed on a Segway.
3. Jogging in Prague
If you like jogging, we recommend you Stromovka, a big park close to the Prague centre. It’s a popular place for relaxing and doing sport activities and you can enjoy long jogging in very natural environment. Another nice route is along the Vltava river, starting in the city centre at Manes, which is just a 5 minutes from Bohemia Apartments Prague Centre.
4. In-line skating
Stromovka is also perfect for skating. If you don’t have your in-line skates with you in Prague, no problem. You can rent skates close to Stromovka park on this adress: Čechova 3, Praha 7 – Letná.
Prague is a beautiful city with many magical corners. Best way how to explore them is to walk. You can ask for a map in one of many infocentres in the centre and plan your own tour or contact us and we will help you to find a guide.
Enjoy the good feeling of your healthy spirit! If you have another tip for a similar activity you would like to do in Prague, please let us know and we will provide you more local info.
